Module 5.1 - Algebraic Methods - Multi-Dimensional Arrays
With this module, we're venturing beyond what is readily available in existing online C tutorials for arrays:
- As we've seen in the previous module, HowStuffWorks.com stops at 1-dimensional arrays, and
- CProgramming.com only briefly touches on two-dimensional arrays in their discussion.
- Going directly to the source never hurt, but Brian Kernigan's Tutorial on Arrays only lightly touches on 2-dimensional arrays.
- Wikipedia provides a better discussion on array-programming that includes C and Fortran implementations.
There are a couple of online discussions covering static and dymanic memory allocation for multi-dimensional arrays, but you'll probably do best to go back over this module's Connect section and bring specific questions about multi-dimensional arrays to class to discuss with your classmates and Dr. Impelluso.
In addition, it's always OK to contact Joshua Bleier, the instructional designer of these modules.
