All laboratory fume hoods on campus will need to undergo annual comprehensive testing and certification in compliance with Cal OSHA requirements (CA Code of Regulations, Title 8:General Industry, Sec. 5154.1). Technical Safety Services, Inc. (TSS) will be performing the tests and certification during <b><u>January 13-16, 2014</u></b>. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>To facilitate and expedite the testing and certification process, fume hoods must be cleared of large equipment and items, i.e. large chemical containers, secondary containers that could impede exhaust through the baffles of the fume hood</span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>.
