INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
Dr. Garoma is a registered professional engineer in the State of California.  Prior to joining San Diego State University, he has worked as a professional engineer for Parsons Water & Infrastructure and MWH Soft.  At Parsons Water & Infrastructure, he was involved in the design of processes for WWTPs, in master plan study for water distribution and collection systems, in feasibility study for recycled water systems, and in hydraulic model development for water distribution and sewer collection systems.  He has trained several professional engineers on water distribution and collection system modeling software packages, including H2ONET, H2OMAP Water, H2OMAP Sewer, InfoWater, and InfoSewer while at MWH Soft.  

Dr. Garoma has also performed detailed engineering analysis and design for a number of multi-story buildings, foundations, and earth retaining structures while working as a professional engineer on part-time basis for MH Engineering.
